Casterton is situated in the Yourkshire Dales national park on the boundaries of three counties - Cumbria, Lancashire and North Yorkshireand the Lake District. Accommodation is situated on the second floor of the building and comprises a through living room with fully equipped kitchen comprising NEFF oven, washing machine and dishwasher. There are two double bedrooms one ensuite bathroom and one separate bathroom. The master bedroom can be split into two single beds. There is off road parking available for two vehicles. Kirkby Lonsdale is a 5-10 minute drive away or a 30 minute walk and has a number of excellent bars, restaurants and shops. The main supermarket is Booths in Kirkby Lonsdale but there is a small village shop at the garage in Casterton. The local pub the Pheasant serves excellent food and a range of fine ales. The nearby village of Barbon hosts the Churchmouse cafe and deli, and the Barbon Inn, a 17th century coaching inn serving tradition pub food. The apartment bedrooms have beautiful views over Barbon Fell and there are some lovely walks nearby. Windermere and the lake district are only a 30 minute drive away should you wish to venture further afield. Ingleton and the famous falls trail is only a 15 minute drive away as are the White Scar caves and the Lake District. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the apartments and there is no lift to the second floor.
